- Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.06 and 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 12805B22Q0020 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04 The associated NAICS Code is 561720 Janitorial Services and the Small Business Size Standard is $19.5 million. Description of Work: The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Research Service, Central Great Plains Research Station (CGPRS) requires janitorial services. Work includes janitorial services for two (2) buildings at the CGPRS in Akron CO.� The requirements are further detail in the attached Requirements Documents. Period of Performance:� Base Year 03/15/2022 � 03/14/2023 All offerors are responsible for verifying square footage of work locations. Contractors must be registered to attend the site visit. The site visit registration deadline is 8 February 2022. DOCUMENTS TO BE INCLUDED IN QUOTE:� In order to be considered for award, Offerors shall respond by: 1) Providing all associated documents identified in the attached clauses and provisions document, specifically 52.212-1 Instruction for the Preparation of Offers. � 2) Have an Active SAM.gov registration and complete the Representations in FAR 52.204-54; the Representation and Certification section should also be completed electronically in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Any amendment and documents related to this procurement will be available electronically at the Government Point of Entry (beta.sam.gov). Failure to provide the required information in the requested format may result in quotes not being considered for award. FAR clauses 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 (and any addenda to those clauses) are included in the attached clauses and provisions document.� Additionally, other contract requirements and terms/conditions can be located in the same document. All sources wishing to quote shall furnish a quotation by the time specified in this GPE beta.sam.gov posting. Quotations are to be sent via email to Toinette Aranda at Toinette.Aranda@usda.gov. Only Email submissions of proposals will be accepted.� All questions pertaining to this solicitation must contain reference to the solicitation number and must be submitted, in writing via e-mail to both �mike.bernal@usda.gov and toinette.aranda@usda.gov �No later than 16 February 2022. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for bid/proposal preparation costs. Attached Provisions/Clauses apply to this RFQ and any subsequent award. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS SUBMITTED� Question 1. Were you referring to septic cleaning by pumping or by chemical septic cleaning that goes down the drain? Answer: The septic cleaning by chemical that goes down the drain. Question 2. Would you please send a list of items and paper products that are to be provided for this contract. When talking with our distributor, we were informed that different dispensers use specific products. Answer: IAW Attach 01 PWS Janitorial CGPRS Akron CO, Section II SERVICE REQUIREMENTS The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, (such as toilet paper, gloves, paper towels, etc.), and service necessary to perform the services required. � The following are some of the supply items contractor shall provide. Trash Bags- 38X60 55-60 gallon, 24x33 16 gallon trash bags Toilet Tissue- 4x4 sheets Paper tools to fit a Kimberly-Clark Professional� 8 inch Hand Soap 1000-mL Gojo Purell/SKILCRAFT hand sanitizer refills: dispenser #4510-01-521-9866
