Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services: Eight (8) Boiler Inspections in support of the Roseburg, OR VAMC. Perform annual maintenance and inspections, on two hydronic heating condensing boilers. This is a multi-cell chambered type boiler. Purchase one, two-year annual kits for use for opening both boilers on the fire side. Open inspect & clean the first stage chamber only to determine condition of remaining cells. Clean the first stage burner. Open, inspect & flush the water side clean condensate trap, float and lines. Clean drain line, Neutralizer canister and replace neutralizer Rock Media. Cycle limits, safeties, and operating controls. Check combustion Analysis & Return to factory specifications. Perform annual maintenance and inspections on two hydronic heating condensing boilers. Perform annual maintenance and inspections on two hydronic heating condensing boilers. Open & inspect and clean fire side burner, Open & inspect and flush water side. Clean condensate trap, float and lines. Clean neutralizer canister and replace neutralizer rock media cycle limits, safeties, operating controls, check combustion analysis and return to factory specifications. Perform annual maintenance and inspections on two copper fin tube boilers. Inspect the interior of the boilers, clean & vacuum if necessary. Check for leaks in the water, gas flue and condensate lines. Examine venting system for any obstructions. Check the system water pressure/system piping and expansion tank. Check the fill water meter, test boiler water, check control settings and ignitor. Check wiring & connections. Check the flue gas passageways. Inspect the flame. Inspect & clean the burner. Check the manifold gas pressure. Perform start-up checklist. Replace combustion air filters. Check the relief valve, test low water cutoff operates the relief valve every six months. Perform combustion analysis. Potential candidates having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated services are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Jeffrey Hansen at jeffrey.hansen2@va.gov no later than March 1st NLT 9AM PST. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; capability statement and if the services are available on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract.
