THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE � THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT�S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD TO WEST PUBLISHING CORPORATION FOR PUBLICATION SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES. The Department of Defense (DOD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) on behalf of United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). WHS/AD intends to issue a sole source contract to West Publishing Corporation (610 Opperman Drive, Eagan, MN, 55123), to provide the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces with online subscription and access to 32 copyrighted print publications. These subscriptions are the proprietary property of West Publishing Corporation. These publications cover topics, such as, criminal law, constitutional law, criminal procedures, drug laws, evidentiary federal practice and procedures, jury instructions, statutory construction, federal statutes, federal case law, and federal digests. The listed publications are necessary to fulfill the Court�s mission of providing equitable justice to the military personnel. The Period of Performance will be from date of award through September 30, 2022 (no option periods). This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to be compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determine whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
