- Solicitation Number: TBD Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE USED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS. NO PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED OR ACCEPTED WITH THIS SYNOPSIS. The General Services Administration, Public Building Service is issuing this source sought as a means of conducting marker research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the modernization of one (1) existing Simplex (or equivalent) operation, traction elevator. Provide new: AC motor, solid state microprocessor controls, car frame, cab, doors, and all associated work to provide one completely new elevator. Project Location, Isaac Parker Federal Building, 30 S. 6th Street, Fort Smith, AR 72903�All work performed under this contract shall meet or exceed the current ASME-A17.1 Elevator Code and the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards. The estimated cost range for all work is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This procurement is open to all business concerns. Work to be performed under the contemplated contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238290 with a size standard of $14 Million. All offerors are advised that this project may be revised or canceled at any time during the sources sought, synopsis, solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and final award. In responding to this source sought, please indicate your: (1) interest as a prime contractor, teaming partner, joint venture, and indicate (2) whether or not your company is a small business. (3) Brief description of your firms past experience in Construction trades, (4) overall Bonding Capacity, and (5) company information (name, point of contact phone number/email). It is anticipated that this project will take approximately 365 calendar days to complete. Please note that there is no solicitation available at this time; the purpose of this announcement is to identify available sources only. Award of any resulting procurement will be based on a source selection employing a ""Best Value Concept"" methodology. �Submit this information to the Contract Specialist listed below via e-mail only. No phone calls or faxes expressing interest will be accepted. Release of a synopsis of the requirement is anticipated April 2022.
