Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Tecan US for annual preventative maintenance agreement (2011013986) inclusive of necessary components (Air FCA RGA (30042401), US3 SHAKER BIOSHAKE 5000 ELM 384-1536 (30098464), US3 INTELLIXCAP-96 CAPPER-DECAPP BROOKS (30181030), US3 MODULE GRIPPER VIAL (30112417)) for the Fluent 780 automated aliquot system. Maintenance period will be 04/13/2022 through 04/12/2023. As the Fluent 780 automated aliquot system originated with Tecan US they are the sole source qualified to provide the necessary maintenance of their specialized equipment This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.� �All responsible sources�may�submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which�shall�be considered by the agency. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� Any quotation, capability statement, and/or other response should be emailed to contract specialist Candice L. Simmons at iie3@cdc.gov by COB on Friday, February 18, 2022.
