Description
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. There is no solicitation package available. This is not a request for proposal. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the government. Responses in any form are not offers and the government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division at Joint Base McGuire-Dix Lakehurst (JBMDL), NJ is releasing the capabilities questionnaire as part of this RFI to identify interested parties and solicit comments to improve the quality and clarity of the detailed requirement. The Government�s intent is to competitively solicit via fair opportunity procedures associated with the �Contracted Maintenance, Modification, Aircrew, and Related Services (CMMARS) Multiple Award Contract. If two or more interested CMMAR contract holders are determined capable and qualified, the Government will compete this requirement via the CMMARS Multiple Award Contract.�The resulting Task Order is anticipated to include a one-year performance period. The 22917-512-1 A-12 Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) is an internal Circuit Card that is part of the Acoustic Processing system on a Taiwan P-3C. Originally Manufactured by Mercury and installed in the Lockheed Martin N133651-1 Digital Computer Unit, there were approximately twenty-two (22) circuit cards manufactured. Mercury has informed the Government that the cards are end-of-life, and they no longer support or repair them. This Task Order is for the repair/remanufacturing of CCAs. The Contractor shall receive, induct, inspect, and repair/remanufacture circuit card assemblies in accordance with ISO 9000 specifications, returning the assembly to a serviceable condition. Capability Statement Responses Requested: Responsible sources are encouraged to respond to the questions listed in the attached A-12 Capabilities Questionnaire by email to Contract Specialist, Michael Miller, via email at michael.t.miller248.civ@us.navy.mil. Interested offerors may also provide an introductory capability statement in either Microsoft Word or PDF. The introductory capability statement shall be no more than fifteen (15) single-sided 8.5 X 11 inch pages, font no smaller than 10 point to demonstrate the ability to provide the requirement as listed above. The information shall be submitted as UNCLASSIFIED. The Government may elect not to discuss submissions received in response to this RFI with individual responders. There is no requirement to respond to the RFI in order to be eligible to propose on the planned RFP. However, the Government places tremendous value on the information received and may utilize it to finalize its acquisition strategy. Respondents shall fully use this opportunity to describe proven capabilities in performing services similar to those described in this draft top level SOW. All responses shall include: Company name CMMARS Contract Number Points-of-Contact (POC) including name, phone number, and email address
