- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Solicitation No.:� 19GE5022R0051 The U.S. Consulate General, Frankfurt provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice regarding the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for: Electrical Distribution System Repair �U.S EMBASSY QUITO, ECUADOR The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany, intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price Contract in the second quarter of calendar year 2022. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor and services required for the repair on the main electrical distribution system of the US Embassy Quito, Ecuador. The contractor shall ship material directly to post Quito and travel to post Quito to perform the required services. The equipment to be serviced are GE switchgears and include the following: (complete equipment list and Statement of Work will be provided with the solicitation) Load Bank Switchboard: GE Spectra Series Switchboard; 5 Sections ATS: Model No. ZS1MB3004N-07M520X-2 MDPE/MDPU Switchgear: GE Switchboard; 8 Sections; JOB No. 8760165E07 MDSGE/MDSGU Switchgear: GE AKD-10 Switchgear; 10 Sections; SUMMARY NO. 0169A1893 PSWBD Switchboard: GE Spectra Series Switchboard; 2 Sections MSG Switchgear: GE AKD-10 Switchgear; 3 Sections; SUMMARY NO. 0169A1892 The parts to be provided shall be brand name only items (exact description and part numbers to be provided on the solicitation document). Contractor personnel providing the services shall be GE trained and certified. Proof of GE training and certification shall be provided with the proposal. � Pursuant to Subpart 36.204 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the estimated magnitude for the entire project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 U.S. Dollars (Note: the prescribed FAR range determinations provide relatively wide ranges only, in order to give potential offerors a very general orientation as to the magnitude of the work.� However, the specified range is not meant to give any indication as to the Independent Government Cost Estimate for this project, which could be at the lower or the upper end of the range indicated).� NOTE:�� Unique Identifier Number and System for Award Management (SAM) registration are mandatory requirement for all companies to be considered for contract award.� Offerors may obtain a Unique Identifier Number and information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at: System for Award Management: www.sam.gov. Qualified companies interested in the solicitation shall express their interest by written correspondence to the attention of Ms. Wencke Jacobsen at JacobsenW@state.gov , no later than February 25, 2022, using the solicitation number 19GE5022R0051 in the subject line. DO NOT TELEPHONE. All requests for a copy of the solicitation MUST include the following information: Name of Firm, Unique Entity Identifier (formerly DUNS number), Name, Telephone and Email Address of Point of Contact and Complete Physical and Mailing Address of Firm.� The solicitation package/documents shall not be placed on SAM.gov.�Only companies submitting a letter of interest and complete �Application for Solicitation Document� check list attached hereto may receive a copy of the solicitation package/documents when available. The solicitation package will only be available in the English language. All requirements for translations will be at the expense of the Contractor. Additionally, you are required to complete and include in your expression of interest the below check list. All requests for the solicitation document that are submitted without the check list, or with an incomplete check list, may be rejected. Firms shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English and possess all appropriate permits and licenses to perform work in Ecuador.
