Stennis Space Center. NASA issued Notice of Availability/Announcement for Proposal (NOA/AFP) # 80SSC02000001, a copy of which is attached stating the following: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Stennis Space Center (SSC) is seeking to identify potential industry interest in, and proposed uses for some agency propulsion test facilities located at SSC in Mississippi. This notice describes NASA assets that are currently underutilized as a result of program cancellations, changing needs or transitioning activities. This notice also describes available Greenfield space that can be made available for use. NASA originally published the NOA/AFP on SAM.gov on February 18, 2020 and updated the publish date on December 14, 2020. The response period closes on February 18, 2022. NASA received one response to the NOA/AFP for use of the A-2 Test Stand. Other parties interested in using the A-2 Test Stand at SSC should contact the NASA points of contact listed in NOA/AFP #80SSC02000001 by December 24, 2021 and, following the NOA/AFP instructions, include the information requested. NASA will use additional responses received by December 24, 2021, if any, to gauge additional market interest and determine best value to the Government in granting use of the A-2 Test Stand in a manner that optimizes its support for the agency's missions and objectives, and the U.S. national space policy. If no other responses are received, pending the results of further due diligence and negotiation between NASA and the respondent to the NOA/AFP, the parties may enter into an agreement or agreements for the use of the A-2 Test Stand.
