Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) is seeking information concerning the availability of capable contractors to provide a VTP VetRide Transportation Solution that provides facilities the ability to increase access to care through meeting Veteran s transportation needs and trips.    The VetRide Solution shall integrate Mobile Data Computers (MDC) which communicate with VA in real time for various modes of transportation to include Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), stretcher vans, and wheel chair vans. The VetRide Solution shall allow for VA transportation and a clinical user interface via web browser, connectivity to community transportation resources for coordination of scheduled rides, and a self-service solution for Veterans to request transportation, check their status, and get routing information of scheduled transports. The solution shall be designed to meet the demands of all users both internal and external, in very high quantity, and currently meets or exceeds all VA security standards and has obtained a full Authority to Operate (ATO).   This is a Request For Information (RFI) only and is limited to ten pages (excluding Performance Work Statement (PWS) if your response includes PWS recommended changes).  Do not submit a proposal or quote.  There is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI.  Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider.  You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI.  This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract.  No funds have been authorized, appropriated or received for this effort.  Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response.  The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI.  Describe your solutions ability to meet the requirements set forth in the PWS, primarily: Administrative Portal Third-Party Portal Ambulance Provider Portal Special Mode of Transportation (SMT) Tracker Mobile Data Computer (MDC) Requirements and Hardware Veteran Self-Service Portal Budget Management Tool Auto-Scheduling & Optimization b. Does your system use integrated software codes and source code to integrate information from multiple sources into a unified display, also known as a single pane of glass ?  c. How would user access be managed for your services and is it possible that specific VA users would be provided a direct ability to grant or remove user access?  d. Describe your technical support capabilities and what kind of help desk services your solution provides.  e. Is your system capable of acting as a hierarchical multi-tenancy system? (Each VA site is a tenant. However, all tenants are further grouped in hierarchical logical structure to give permissions at regional and national levels) f. Describe your pricing methodology.  Is there a price per user unit price?  Do you offer an enterprise license?  Do you offer teared pricing methodology?  g. What are your license terms and conditions?    h. Describe how your system is hosted and what level of effort (rough estimate) would be required for transition to the VAEC.  i. Describe what type of training and hardware installation is provided with your solution and any recommendations related to how a workforce consisting of over one thousand users would be transitioned to your solution.  j. Is your system FedRamp authorized?
