- This Sources Sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 206.302-1(d). The Naval Air Warfare Center-Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Patuxent River, MD intends to issue a Sole Source contract to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc., Poway, CA. for Contractor Owned, Contractor Operated (COCO) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Support Services. The Department of the Navy, Naval Air Warfare Center-Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), has a potential MQ-9B ISR Support Services requirement. This Sources Sought is issued and intended for market research and planning purposes only. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to survey industry interest and understand industry capabilities. Any information provided by industry to the Government is strictly voluntary and to be provided at no cost to the Government. The Government will not reimburse vendors for any preparation/submission costs. This is not a Synopsis or a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. The information requested by this Sources Sought will be used by the NAWCAD multi-functional team to facilitate decision making. The Government anticipates a need for this service at CONUS locations. The Government is seeking information and capabilities in the following areas: a. Do you have access to an existing secured facility capable of receiving, launching and recovering the MQ-9B? b. Do you have the necessary support equipment to provide MQ-9B pilot, sensor operator, ground control station and ISR Support Services? c. Are you a licensee able to use the OEM OFP to provide MQ-9B ISR Support Services? If not, can you obtain the proper licenses to support the MQ-9B ISR Support Services? , d. Please provided a projected timeline to obtain the proper licences to support the MQ-9B ISR Support Services. e. What are some competitive barriers that exist in trying to perform the MQ-9B contemplated requirement? f. What is your Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, e-mail address, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number? g. What is your business size (Other than Small Business or Small Business)? h.
