- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.201.� This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is it construed as a commitment by the Government.� This synopsis is prepared in accordance with guidance in FAR 5.207, and is prepared for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming Firm Fixed Priced solicitation for supplies in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head (NSWC IHD).� NSWC IHD has a requirement for a specified quantity of RAID-M 100 hand held PGDN Detectors and corresponding consumable material to the locations specified here in the synopsis.� The Contractor shall provide a quantity specified by the order of the RAID-M 100 hand held PGDN Detectors for the detection of chemical vapors within two prescribed libraries.� Detects PGDN (Library A) and selected toxic industrial chemical vapors Library B) as standard.� Library A includes:� PGDN (15ppb sensitivity), HCN, HSI, GSI.� A supply of consumable materials to fulfil a requirement of NSWC IH Otto Fuel Detector In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA). There will be one (1) Base year and Two (2) Option Years. This requirement will be a sole source effort.� The NAICS Code is 332993.� The size standard is 1,500 employees and the PSC code is 1320. The solicitation will be restricted under 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1; Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. It is anticipated the solicitation will be available for download on or about February 16, 2022. This synopsis is for information purposes only.
