Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of a Cosmetology Instructor for the inmate population at FCI Tallahassee, Florida. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611210 (Size Standard: $22,000,000). This solicitation is being issued as unrestricted. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The Government contemplates awarding of a contracts with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from this solicitation. The anticipated Effective Date of Award (EDOA) is July 1, 2022.� The resulting contract will include a base year from the EDOA through 12 months from the EDOA with four (4) possible 12-month option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. There is an estimated 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.�� FCI Tallahassee estimates 1,200 sessions (hours) per option year with an estimated maximum of 15 inmate participants. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 1, 2022 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
