- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy for Single Engine Turbine Aircraft for the Critical Incident Response Group. This is a sources sought notice and request for information (RFI). This is not a formal solicitation. Any formal solicitation will be announced separately at a later time. Information provided to the Government as a result of this posting is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation, and clearly provided at no cost to the Government. Contact with Government personnel, other than the Contract Specialist or Contracting Officer, by potential offeror or their employees regarding this requirement is strictly prohibited. The purpose of posting this RFI is to provide single engine turbine, pressurized aircrafts to the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG). The summary of services is as follows: The aircraft will include the following baseline requirements: Turbine- PT6 series engine Pressurized cabin L3 MX-15HD EO/IR Sensor Full Autothrottle Capable of carrying 2 pilots, 1 sensor operator, and 6 passengers with minimum of 900lbs cargo FAA Approach category A or B (RESERVED) Lavatory equipped A detailed description of the requirements is attached to this sources sought. The anticipated period of performance is five (5) years, with one (1) base year and four (4) one-year option periods. The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price. The FBI is interested in obtaining information from industry. Both large business concerns and all categories of small business are encouraged to respond to this request. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code anticipated for this requirement is 336411 Aircraft Manufacturing and small business size standard for the selected NAICS is 1500 employees. � Vendors shall address the following 3 components within their submittal: 1. Company Information: Please provide your - DUNS number� - Cage Code and betaSAM.gov registry status - Large or Small business status (8a, woman-owned, veteran-owned, etc.) - Point of contact, to include: name, title, telephone number, business address, and email address - Primary NAICS provided on previous contracts - Number of years in business 2. Requirements/Scope: See Attached Requirements Description. Please ensure your response covers, at a minimum, capabilities for all requirements called out in the description. Include an expected approach to accomplishing the work. 3. Submission: The page count not including the cover page should be limited to 25 pages, 12 Times New Roman font, with a minimum of 1-inch margins.
