Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI). DLA Troop Support Europe and Africa is interested in your comments related to a requirement for class I subsistence products. Products need to be sourced from Public Health Center approved Facilities throughout Europe to support DLA Troop Support Europe & Africa customers. There is no solicitation available at this time, as the sole purpose of this RFI is to conduct Market Research. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this RFI, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This RFI does not constitute a commitment from the Government and any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be inappropriately released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation is not a promise for future business with the Government. Discussion: DLA requests responses to the following questions: Company Name, Cage Code? Are you registered in the System for Awards Management (SAM.gov) Company point of contact (POC), phone number and email? Is your company able to provide class I products that will be produced, processed, and prepared only in production plants listing in the Worldwide Directory of Sanitarily Approved Food Establishments for Armed Forces Procurement (link below)? If yes, please provide a list of items that are available (ex: pork, cereal, cereal bars, fries, frozen pizza, onion rings, seafood, frozen vegetable��.not limited to this list) Can a listing of items that are readily available, be provided with possible pack sizes? Please provide where the items will be sourced (Geographically). Is you company able to meet irregular demands and irregular order schedules? If so, what is your proposed method of support that involves receiving order, consolidating product, and delivering throughout Europe (EU, Non-EU)? Are there any known restrictions to deliver specific Subsistence product within European Countries associated to Country (EU, Non-EU) rules or Brexit? Please provide any comments, questions, or feedback related to this RFI that has not been asked above. DLA Troop Support encourages and greatly appreciates your participation. Your responses regarding support for our customers will be treated as confidential and for Government use only.
