Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quotations number is 70Z0-8522-Q-LRE13550-S00 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-65 dated January 29, 2013. The NAICS Code is 333618. The small business size standard is 1250. This is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. Past Performance will be considered when evaluating vendors. The United States Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center has a requirement for the following PARTS� AND SERVICES for CGC SYCAMORE: POP 1 Week. Vender will coordinate with Cutter POCs to schedule week of repair plan. �DISCREP 22002- Bridge Window Install- SYCAMORE 1. SCOPE 1.1 Intent. This work item describes the requirements for the Contractor to remove the old window and install new window. 1.2 Period of Performance. Preferred dates as listed: Primary: 07-11 Feb 2022 Secondary: 14-18 Feb 2022 (Subject to change only with Cutter and Vendor�s coordination with each other) 2. REFERENCES COAST GUARD PUBLICATIONS Surface Forces Logistics Center Standard Specification 0000 (SFLC Std Spec 0000), 2020, General Requirements Surface Forces Logistics Center Standard Specification 6310 (SFLC Std Spec 6310), 2020, Requirements for Preservation of Ship Structures 225B-WLB_625_1_1_-_D - WINDOWS & PORTLIGHTS 3. REQUIREMENTS Protective measures. The Contractor must furnish and install all protective measures in accordance with SFLC Std Spec 0000, (Vessel component, space, and equipment protection). Interferences. The Contractor must handle all interferences in accordance with SFLC Std Spec 0000, paragraph 3.3.5 (Interferences). Known interferences include, but are not limited to the following: � System refrigerant � System cooling water � Piping � Bulkheads � Insulation � Compressors � Receivers � Foundations � Ventilation Ducting � Electrical Wiring Guidance. The Contractor shall refer to CG Drawings for location shipboard configuration and variations. Safety. The Contractor shall familiarize themselves with and comply with applicable requirements invoked in CG TP 3363 (particularly associated WARNINGS, CAUTIONS and NOTES). The Contractor shall un-install existing window in accordance with requirements found in applicable portions of CG Drawings. Installation. Prior to installation, the Contractor shall remove old window (CG will provide new window) with their own provide tools/equipment: 47 Chandler Street, NAVSTA NETC, Pier 2, Newport, RI 02841. Contractor shall then on install window onboard ship applicable to configuration drawings. Operational test, post repairs. After completion of work and in the presence of the Coast Guard Inspector (EPO/APO), the Contractor must thoroughly test, make any adjustments, and demonstrate the equipment to be in satisfactory operating condition.
