Description

VA HANDBOOK 6500.6 MARCH 12, 2010 APPENDIX C C-12 Pre-solicitation Notice of Intent to Sole Source Pre-Solicitation Notice of intent to award a sole source contract.  This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with:    Circle Cardiovascular Imaging 1100-800 5 AVE SW Calgary, Ab T2P 3T6,  Canada   The Department of Veterans Affairs VA Medical Center intends to award a purchase order, Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source contract for TAP Cardiac MR, and TAP Strain software services for the Artemis Systems. An Authorization of Sole Source/Distributor/Dealer Letter has been provided by OEM Circle Cardiovascular Imaging is the Sole Source Authorized Distributor of Artemis software into the Federal Government. The products distributed to Circle Cardiovascular Imaging are hereby guaranteed to be safe, are not counterfeit or adulterated devices, have been maintained in adequate storage conditions, and any warranties and services and/or preventative maintenance agreements are transferred and will be honored by Circle Cardiovascular Imaging.   The authority for applying the Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items of FAR 13.5 is 41 U.S.C. 1901. This statute is implemented by for restricting competition on this procurement via FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). The intent is to procure these services on a sole source basis. No solicitation will be posted to Contract Opportunities.   The NAICS 511210. The size standard is $41.52 Million.  The PSC/FSC is DA10.         Interested persons may contact the Contracting Officer/Contract Specialist by email at angel.almaraz@va.gov regarding this procurement.  The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.   Response must be received by 02/04/2022 12:00pm EST.
