Description

INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build EHRM Training and Admin Space Support Construction project at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 5000 West National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI, 53295. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Milwaukee VAMC is seeking a general contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, qualified supervision, and other items designated in this contract in accordance with the specifications and drawings to complete Project # 695-21-703: EHRM Training and Admin Space Support at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. The project includes renovations of internal space in Buildings 6 and 20. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million. The solicitation will be issued in mid to late February of 2022. The period of performance is approximately 355 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
