- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The NCO 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214, is performing market research to determine if there is enough qualified: (1) Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); (2) Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB); or (3) Small or emerging small business firms, or (4) Other Than Small business firms, to provide and install one (1) STEAM STERILIZER, Brand Name (GETINGE USA SALES LLC 733LS-E Series) or Equal, for the William S. Middleton MVH in Madison Wisconsin. REQUIREMENTS: ONE (1) STEAM STERILIZER BRAND NAME (GETINGE USA SALES LLC 733LS-E Series) OR EQUAL MINIMUM SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS TO BE MET, OR EXCEEDED, BY AN EQUAL ITEM IN ORDER TO BE FOUND ACCEPTABLE: - Shall be a vacuum/gravity steam sterilizer, with both pre-vacuum and gravity-displacement cycles in the same unit. - Shall have factory default cycles and additional programmable cycles that can be customized for equipment as needed. - Shall include printer and paper roll. - Shall have a selectable range for temperature for regular cycles 230° F 275° F (110° C 135° C) for hard goods, and 219° F -275° F (104° C 135° C) for liquids. - Chamber and jacket shall be constructed of 316 L stainless steel. - Chamber shall have tracks for load car. - Sterilizer shall fit in the current room, including all recommended user access, ADA working space and servicing room. Room is 6'4"" Wide, 12'7"" Long and 7'6"" High. Unit shall not exceed 5' Wide, 6'2"" Tall and 3'4"" Deep. - Chamber size shall be at least 29.3 cubic feet with at least 26.5"" Wide, 36"" High, and 53"" Deep. - Shall have power operated door. - Shall include air compressor, as needed for its own controls. - Shall function with 55 psi steam or include pressure reducing valve for lower pressures. - Shall comply or meet the requirements of: ASME (Section VIII, Division 1) Code for Pressure Vessels; Uniform Plumbing Code; ETL Listed to UL 61010A-1 and UL61010A-2-041; ETL Listed to IEC 61010-1 and IEC 61010-2-040; CETL Listed to CSA C22.2 Nos. 1010.1 and 1010.2.041; Seismic Anchoring Requirements per CBC 2010; and Cycle performance validated to ANSI/AAMI ST8: 2008. - Unit shall come with air compressor, for the power door. - Shall come with transfer carriage and stainless-steel load car with adjustable shelves. - All components shall be easily accessible for maintenance. - Shall include modular PLC control system to monitor and control all sterilizer operations and functions with a user interface touch control panel with control interface mounted to unit. - Shall have steam interlock door switch to prevent steam from entering chamber when door not sealed. - Shall have steam safety valves. - Shall have door obstruction shut-off. - Shall have Analog chamber gauges, to provide readings in jacket and chamber if microchip control system outage. - Shall have ""Abort alert"" or warning messages that require user intervention before chamber can be re-opened. - Shall have Door safety baffle, in case of door failure, gasket will blow out and a baffle at the chamber mouth directs steam away from area users may be working. - Shall have water alarm, high water levels in the drain that cannot be automatically corrected will alarm. - Shall have heat guards and insulation, on surfaces where operators routinely come in contact with door and chamber. - Shall work with feedwater temperature up to 80° F (27° C) and 20-40 psi water pressure. - Shall work with 115 V, 1 ph, 50 60 Hz electrical connection. - Shall be fully assembled or include assembly. - Shall include installation and final utility connections. Documentation from manufacturer (i.e., correspondence from manufacturer) of your firm being an authorized distributor for the manufacturer, if not the manufacturer.
