- The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project, to include potential small business sources in all socioeconomic categories. This notice is for planning purposes only. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests. All interested parties should respond.� The 115th Fighter Wing, Wisconsin Air National Guard, has a requirement to disassemble VLMs (Vertical Lift Machines) and palletize/crate them in a manner that they can be efficiently stored on-site. After an anticipated construction project is completed, the contractor will install/reassemble the VLMs to full working order. There are five VLMs, model�Remstar Shuttle-XP-500-2450X864-US. All interested concerns will provide the requested information via email to this office no later than the date specified.�Include the following in the subject line: Sources Sought W50S9F-22-Q-0006 Information requested in response to this Sources Sought includes: 1. Sources capable and willing to provide a quote for this project: Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, and small business status, including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc. 2. Whether this is available on any existing Government contract. 3. Any input as to qualifications required for this type of project This project will include: -Create backup file of current machine settings. -Remove any empty trays. -Disassemble height modules. -Unwire/disconnect internal cables. -Disassemble base unit. -Build crates and skids for storage. -Stack and band empty trays. -Stack and crate exterior skin panels. -Stack and crate exterior load columns. -Stack and crate shelf rail panels. -Crate base unit. -Ensure that crates can be moved by use of 10K forklift. -Upon building 510 construction completion, re-assemble and program VLMs. -Assemble machines in new location. -Government will notify contractor 6-8 weeks prior to installation and provide specific location in building 510 of where VLMs will be installed. -Completely re-wire internal components. -Power up VLMs. -Test controls. -Load parameters from back-up files. -Test VLM movement and stopping distance. -Load and store tray data for empty trays. -Test VLM with government present to verify VLM operates to governments� expectation. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or IFB or RFP, if any is issued.
