- In accordance with FAR 15.20l (e), NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to obtain future insight from the Industry for the potential Sustainable Flight Demonstrator (SFD). NASA seeks Industry�s position on the advantages and disadvantages of maintaining ownership of the demonstrator vehicle versus transition the demonstrator to NASA.� Key areas to be addressed are: � � � � � � 1.� How might each option impact the overall cost of the program? � � � � � � 2.� �What are some of the benefits of each option? � � � � � � 3.� What is the preferred option and why? The submitted document shall not exceed 5 pages. In determining page count, a page is defined as one side of a sheet, 8 1/2"" x 11"", with at least one-inch margins on all sides, using not smaller than 12-point type. This document is for information and planning purposes and to allow industry the opportunity to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement, as well as promote competition. NASA AFRC is not requesting or accepting proposals. The information gathered from this RFI will assist NASA in finalizing the potential requirement. The Government may not respond to questions/concerns submitted. It is the interested party�s responsibility to monitor this website for the release of any subsequent solicitation or synopsis.
