- Pre-Bid Meeting FOR 554-22-136 Relocate Power for Patient Transport Cart Chargers The contractor is to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision required to install electrical power for patient transport cart chargers on Level 1 at the Parking Visitor North garage (building 12) at RMR VAMC, located at 1700 N. Wheeling St., Aurora CO 80045. The objective is to run new electrical power from existing panels in the service level electrical room to parking Level 1. All work must be done in compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA and federal/state environmental regulations and policies. Contractor is responsible for proper handling and disposal of debris, waste and excess fuel generated during completion of this work. Location: Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center AGENDA: Introduction of Ilze Karklins-Powers CO and Steve Manciagli COR The pre-bid meeting/site walk is not mandatory QUESTIONS During site visit MUST BE WRITTEN DOWN Pertinent Dates: Questions are due by COB January 11, 2022. Any questions submitted after this time will not be reviewed or answered. Please submit to ilze.karklins-powers@va.gov Proposals due on January 21, 2022 no later than 1:00 PM MT. Submit to ilze.karklins-powers@va.gov. Prospective bidders are prohibited from attempting to gain information by inquiring with VA employees about project other than through written questions submitted to Contracting Officer. Prospective bidders are prohibited from visiting site other than through formal invitation by Contracting Officer. Attendees of walk-through are to stay as a group while walking to various locations and are to leave the future project site once the walk-through is concluded. Confirmation of construction range is between $50,000 and $100,000. Bid Guarantee & Payment/Performance Bonds: Payment bonds are required within 10 days of award. Please note solicitation requirements for EMR rating and documentation required under VAAR clause 852.219-77 Limitation on Subcontracting. Contractor shall begin performance within 10 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) and complete within 150 days. Post Award Compliance: Compliance with Davis Bacon Wages and Application wage determination shall be expected of the contractor. The contractor can submit their weekly certified payrolls with their monthly invoice.
