- Solicitation for Helicopter and Vessel Support for the Pacific Northwest Research Station, Forest Inventory and Analysis. This solicitation is for one (1) live-aboard marine vessel and one (1) Standard Category, Light (Type III) Helicopter fully operated, meeting the requirements of this Schedule and the specifications for operation during the periods shown below, to be used in conjunction to assist with the completion of forest inventory work throughout coastal Alaska. The performance and capability requirements are a minimum and the helicopter and vessel will be evaluated for overall best value considering price and other factors.� The Government will determine best value. It is the intent of this solicitation to secure a Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment contract not to exceed 1 base year and 4 option periods for the respective daily availability rates.� The flight rate will be an indefinite quantity with no guarantee of flight hours given by the Government.� The Government may award a single contract or multiple awards based on the outcome of the evaluation process.� The Government reserves the right to award any combination of items and/or number of items. Helicopter Inspections (carding) -- all equipment needing to be inspected shall be available for inspection at least 3 weeks prior to the start of work.� Inspections may take place at the vendor�s facility or host base or at a location agreed to with the Agency Maintenance Inspectors. Vessel Inspections � all equipment needing to be inspected shall be available for inspection at least 3 weeks prior to the start of work.� Inspections may take place at the vendor�s facility or host base or at a location agreed to with the COR.
