Description

This is a sources sought notice only; it is not a request for quotations. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), San Juan; Puerto Rico is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a contract for Elevator Maintenance and Repair Services at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System in San Juan. The scope of the resultant contract will request the contractor to provide preventive maintenance and repair services on twenty-eight (23) passenger elevators and nine (8) freight elevators. The awardee shall furnish all material, tools, equipment, labor, supervision, and repair parts. Contractor shall ensure that elevators maintain the same speed, capacity, safety and efficiency as specified by the original equipment manufacturer or as modified thereafter. The anticipated period of performance is from April 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023 with four one-year option periods. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 238290, Other Building Equipment Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard is $15 million, and the Product Service Code (PSC) is J030.
