- Renovation of a Residential House, US Embassy Jerusalem, Israel The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany, intends to issue a Firm Fixed-Price Construction type contract during the first quarter of calendar year 2022. The successful contractor shall perform all construction services required for the renovation of a U.S. Government owned, 130 square meter house in Tel Aviv. The property has sat unused for 10 years.� This project will be a complete renovation to bring the property back into the residential housing pool and will entail the gutting of the structure, replacing the roof, and adding a protective shelter as required by local code. In addition, the successfully contractor shall completely replace electrical, plumbing & HVAC systems.� Installation of energy efficient windows and exterior repairs shall also be required.� The construction will include the installation of a new kitchen, bathrooms, & interior finishes. The successful contractor shall provide for: Demolishing of the unused parts connected to the building Demolishing of the clay roof. Demolishing of the interior walls and the floors. Excavating for new foundation per engineer spec. Reinforcing the existing exterior walls based on the engineer spec Casting new floor per engineer spec. Build new walls for bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and laundry. Installing new electrical, telephone, smoke alarms for all house per engineer spec. Supply and install new clay roof based on the engineer spec. Install new HVAC based on the engineer spec. Supply and install new plumbing system and sewer based on the engineer spec. Three bathrooms based on the engineer spec. Painting the entire house based on the engineer spec. Plastering and painting the exterior based on the engineer spec. New landscape based on the engineer spec. New perimeter walls based on the engineer spec. New ceramic floor tiles for the entire house based on the engineer spec. Supply and install new windows based on the engineer spec. Build new protected space per A&E spec. The magnitude of this project is anticipated to be between $250,000 and $500,000 U.S. Dollars for the entire project. In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), it will be necessary for your organization to possess authorization to operate and do business in the country in which this contract will be performed. Contractors shall be required to provide: a.�� A thorough description as to what steps you have taken to investigate all requirements to obtain authorization to perform in the given country, b.�� Details of your findings and a description of what your organization will be required to undertake to obtain licensing, and c.�� Specific information concerning the period of time you anticipate it will take to obtain appropriate authorization. You will be required to provide information that clearly shows you are able to perform work in Israel.� Any entry or work visa issues requirements must be clearly discussed with a plan to mitigate any risk clearly identified.� Irrevocable Letters of Credit (ILOC):� The successful contractor will be required to provide the government with surety in the form of Irrevocable Letters of Credits totaling 40% of the value of the contract.� If you have a Duns number* and have been SAM** registered, please include below.
