- Description
- This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 � Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions.� The Library of Congress, Contract and Grants Directorate, intends to award a sole-source firm fixed price contract to BATWIN+ROBIN, 185 Hommelville RD, Saugerties, New York 12477. The estimated period of performance is from 3/10/2022 to 10/30/23. This contract will be issued to complete work that the contractor started as a subcontractor under another contract. Upon successful completion of this effort, the Library will have a professionally produced Audio Visual programs for the VEMP Treasures Exhibit. It is anticipated that multiple sources within the commercial marketplace will be able to compete for future requirements related to audiovisual equipment and integration required for the technical implementation and hardware requirements of the AV programs developed as a result of this award. This is not a request for quotes or proposals. Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirements may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice.� Responses to this notice should demonstrate evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission of the Library of Congress. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.
