Description

Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) intends to issue a solicitation N5005422R0003 for the execution of the USS BAINBRIDGE (DDG-96) Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA). The availability will include pier-side maintenance, repair and alterations. Offerors must possess a valid Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and have access to a NAVSEA Certified Dry-Dock capable of docking (USS BAINBRIDGE DDG-96) in accordance with MIL-STD-1625D9SH) in order to receive an award.� The place of performance is restricted to the Norfolk, VA homeport area.� This procurement is a Firm Fixed Price arrangement and the contract award will be made to the offeror representing the Best Value to the Government utilizing technical, past performance, and price evaluation factors. The North American Industry Classification Industry (NAICS) NAICS code for this acquisition is 336611, Ship Building and Repair, and the applicable size standard is 1,250 employees. A Sources Sought Notice was posted to Contract Opportunities at http://sam.gov/ on 25 October 2021 under tracking Number N5005422R0003.� Based on the results of the Sources Sought Notice and other market research conducted, the Government has determined this requirement will be competed as Full and Open. A Small Business Coordination Record (form DD-2579) documenting this decision has been approved by the Small Business Deputy and Small Business Procurement Center Representative. A complete proposal request (RFP) Package will be available at http://sam.gov/ on or around 4 January 2022. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site. This office will NOT issue hard copy solicitations.� By submitting an offer, the contractor is self-certifying neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept an offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges any prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of the contract resulting from this solicitation.
