- Description
- The contractor shall perform field deployment of the MI-PET instrumentation at a selected NAVFAC approved DoD field site (NSA Mechanicsburg) where indicators of contaminant storage in low permeability media (e.g., contaminant rebound, tailing, slower than expected cleanup, etc.) have been observed. The services required are to utilize the Rutgers developed Mobile Immobile porosity tool which was developed under Contract # N39430-17-C-1969, at one Navy site to take reading of contaminants flux in impermeable rock. Rutgers will travel to the site with the tool, deploy the tool in at least two open boreholes and collect the necessary readings.
