Description

One-time FMS spares buy of the Transmitter Receiver in support of the AN/APS-133 Color Weather Radar. The proposed acquisition will be contracted sole source to Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc., CAGE: 45934, Chatsworth, CA pursuant to 10 USC 2304(C)(1). NSN: 5841-01-194-4252; P/N: 2070963-0104; NOUN: Transmitter Receiver. ITEM FUNCTION: The Transmitter Receiver is a lighweight airborne unit consisting of a receiver transmitter and power supply. It contains the necessary circuity to perform Sensitivity Time Control (STC), weather penetration and terrain mapping. ITEM MATERIAL: Coaxial magnetron, solid state moodulator, RF limiter, local oscillator, duplexer-mixer assembly. ITEM DESCRIPTION: LENGTH: 19.5620 in; WIDTH: 10.28 in; HEIGHT: 7.81 in; WEIGHT: 70.0 lbs. QTY: 4 each (Includes�2 each First Article) FOB: Origin DESTINATION DODAAC: DCI002 DELIVERY: 180 Days ARO IUID Requirements are applicable to this acquisition. A written RFP will be issued. The anticipated award date is 28 February 2022 The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate�with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to�respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.�However, all proposals received within forth-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing ordering�agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the�Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the�discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of�determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which will be considered by the�agency. Based upon market research, the Government is anticipating using the policies contained in Part 15, Contract by Negotiations, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement within 15 days of this notice.
