Description
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH CLINICAL LABORATORY AND COURIER SERVICES INTRODUCTION As the nation's leading center for nuclear energy research and development, Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is part of the U.S. Department of Energy's complex of national laboratories and is managed by Battelle Energy Alliance (BEA), LLC. BEA is seeking �Expressions of Interest� (EOI) from Prospective Offerors (Subcontractors) that are qualified and capable to provide a fully managed service that fulfills the clinical laboratory and courier service needs at INL. Prospective Offerors shall demonstrate its qualifications and capabilities by its responses to the submittal requirements listed below. Only Prospective Offerors that meet all submittal requirements herein should respond to this Expression of Interest. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The purpose of the proposed contract is for Subcontractor to provide clinical laboratory testing and courier services for the INL. Courier Services shall pick up clinical laboratory specimens, test request forms, and other related items from INL OHS medical dispensaries about the same time daily and transport them to the clinical laboratory subcontractor.� INL OHS dispensaries are located in Idaho Falls and the 890 square mile DOE complex in the high desert of Eastern Idaho. Subcontractor shall perform clinical laboratory testing of blood and urine specimens in accordance with state and federal requirements for clinical laboratory operations. Subcontractor shall be fully licensed and accredited in line with all applicable federal and state statutes. Subcontractor shall provide materials necessary for collection and shipment of biological specimens in conjunction with this subcontract such as serum and urine transfer tubes, tissue bags, special collection kits, packaging and shipping materials, and test request forms.� SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS Prospective Offerors should provide a written response to address the following: Introduction: Overview of the company including successful past performance performing similar work over the past five years. Please also include the name, phone number, and e-mail address of a representative of your company who can be contacted regarding this Expression of Interest. Personnel: Validation that the company can provide the personnel (with the requisite experience/training) to perform work at INL starting approximately March 1, 2022. Local Presence: Validation that the company has a presence in the general Southeast Idaho area, or can obtain a presence in the general Southeast Idaho area. Note: The formal Request for Proposal and Statement of Work will contain additional and specific submittal requirements.
