- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Biomerieux, for provide Track Core Service Agreement on Vidas, Vitek and Myla equipment, located at the Hampton VA Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia. Service shall include supply of all transportation, labor, parts, materials, tools, specialized equipment, unlimited software updates and support, supervision, and technical expertise in-accordance with providing preventive (PMs) and corrective (repairs) maintenance services for the Biomerieux Vitek 2 (serial number VTK24245), Vidas 3 (serial number VN05273) and Myla systems. Period of performance will be for the period 15 November 2021 through 14 November 2022, with four option years. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) soliciting from a single source. Please note, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Solicitation documents are not available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business who believes it can meet the requirements and possesses relevant past-experience and expertise may give written notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; However, Government determination not to compete the proposed acquisition, based upon responses of this notice, is solely within Government discretion.
