Description: River Operations of the Vicksburg District�requires an emergency contract to recover a submerged pipeline barge. Contractor should mobilize to the site located on the Mississippi River at approximately RM348.9 near the right descending bank approximately 17� deep. Per FAR�13.106-1(b) (1) (i), this requirement was sole-sourced to Big River Shipbuilders.�Big River Shipbuilders has the closest shipyard in the area and can respond immediately.
