Description
Thie government intends to award a Sole-Source purchace order McCormick Equipment for an Advance Lifts, Inc.�Aerial Work Platform (Scissor Lift) Model BFL2-6120+M.� The applicable NAICS code is 333924 with a small business size standard of 750 employees.� The United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM) located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) in Fairborn, OH requires the procurement of a scissor lift to provide training on the loading and unloading of aeromedical equipment and manikin patients on the 767/KC?46 fuselage trainer. �The 502 TDS requires a specific scissor lift with the following specifications: Platform will be installed outdoors and must be able to withstand the elements Platform will be installed on an uneven parking lot and will required to be mounted on metal plates (to be pinned in place) to prevent damage to the parking lot surface and must be leveled Platform lift will be non-rider Platform width at least 134 inches - desired width 138 inches Platform lowered height no greater than 41 inches - desired to have the lowered height less than 24 inches Platform length at least 216 inches - desired platform length is 216 inches Platform capacity at least 3,000 pounds Platform raised height must be be greater than 161 inches Platform speed - must be able to reach the raised height in no more than 60 seconds Must have (2) two NEMA-4 pushbutton controls - (1) control for ground use and (1) one control in the upper deck of the fuselage Available Power for scissor lift operation - 208 VAC/60 HZ/3 PH - Disconnect will be provided Must have Bi-parting gates with interlocks on each end (desired 138 inch width) - must conform to ANSI MH29 1:2012 Fixed guardrails on the (desired 218 inch) long sides. The forward end of the guardrail slanted to clear the trainer fuselage and include snap chains Must have a warning bell/flashing light mounted on the fuselage to be visible from the ground All outdoor electrical panels must be NEMA-4 All outdoor powered equipment must have protected enclosures All metal components must be powder coated or epoxy painted gray Must submit an approval drawing package before manufacture of the lift All work to be performed Monday - Friday between 7:00 AM �and 5:00 PM except on government holidays Must provide own required equipment and manpower needed for unloading trucks and installing the fuselage Must provide all wiring, electrical enclosures and conduit
