Stratton Albany, NY 12208 POC: Mariangie Rivera, email Mariangie.Rivera@va.gov DESCRIPTION: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO IED SUPPORT SERVICES, LLC. Market research was conducted, and it was determined that Atlas IED SUPPORT SERVICES, LLC. is the only vendor capable of providing the needed services for the voice naming of the code blue system which is monitored by the visually impaired telephone operators. All items that supports Innovative Electronic Designs (IED) and Announcement Controls Systems (ACS) are proprietary to Atlas IED SUPPORT SERVICES, LLC. and is not eligible to source out to any vendor or dealer who has not been trained and certified with Atlas IED. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Proposals or Quotations. No solicitation document exists, and no telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. The Government MAY consider all Expressions of Interest (EOI) received prior to Wednesday September 01, 2021 by 3:30 PM EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice must be emailed to Mariangie.Rivera@va.gov and it must be received no later than 12:00 PM EST on Friday September 03, 2021. Submitters are responsible for ensuring their EOI reaches the designated Contracting Specialist on-time. The Statement of Work (SOW) is contained within for additional details. Stratton VA Medical Center Albany, New York Statement of Work (SOW) Title: Voice Naming for Code Blue Background: The Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY, requests service to create naming conventions for the code blue system. This service is needed for the visually impaired telephone operators who monitor the code blue system hospital wide. The current system has electronic computer voice names that ring through the central telephone operator s station. This request is for the newly added code blue buttons on the 4th floor A and B Wings. Scope of work: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and resources for a complete, fully functioning file to be created and support the file installation with the Hill-Rom corporation.
