- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is RFQ-21-4329-AE02 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The NAICS code is 333111, Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing. This solicitation document incorporates those provision and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05.� The USDA, ARS, South East Fruit & Tree Nut Research Laboratory (SEFTNRL), Byron, GA requires a state-of-art Pecan Nut Cracker and Sheller processing system: Minimum Specifications: Stainless Feed Hopper with Belt Elevator to feed the cracker Hopper - 65� W x 53� D x 53� L. Vibratory pan facilitates movement of the nuts to a belt elevator that is 12 inches wide and 8 foot long, 110 VAC electrical motor. Cracker - 400 nuts per minute capacity, 45"" L x 32"" W x 51.5"" H, discharge height of 16"", requiring 10CFM air at 90 PSI, 110 VAC electrical, stainless steel for food safety, adjustable for length of nuts, interchangeable chain pockets to accommodate different nut sizes, pneumatically adjustable for varying nut shell hardness. Bucket Elevator (x3) - 8 foot tall, 110VAC electrical with cast aluminum buckets. Sheller - Capable of 800 lbs. per hour, 66"" L x 29"" W x 62"" H, 220 volt electrical, � horsepower motors, food friendly stainless steel, internal wipers dislodge trapped nuts, easy access for pressure washing cleaning, accurate adjustment for consistent and quality output with dial in adjustment. Precision machined rings for repeatable performance. Meat Sizing Table w/hopper - 3 vibratory pans to move the nut meats into adjustable sizing screens for sorting of meats into like sizes. Stainless steel construction, 110 VAC, feed hopper for accumulation of meats. Picking Table - 60"" L x 37"" W x 37"" H, 3 adjustable vibratory pans move material to allow for visual inspection of nut meats. 110 VAC, stainless steel construction. Shell Aspirator (x3) (one on each bucket elevator) - By use of vacuum being pulled as the material is in suspension between the next transition of each bucket elevator this pulls off light material and trash to be discarded. Aspiration is adjustable by the use of a Lenze drive to fine tune your grade. Batch Meat Dryer - 110 Volt, Stainless steel construction, centrifugal fan forced air over electrical heating coil dispersed throughout the holding container to dry the meats. When meats are at the moisture user requires meats can be manually dumped by pivoting the holding bin at angle. Sanitizer/Soaker - 2' L x 2 W' x 2' H Stainless steel construction, expanded metal holding bin that is manually removeable from the soaker/sanitizer, fluids can be easily drained Any quotes not meeting or exceeding the minimum specifications will not be considered.� DOCUMENTS TO BE INCLUDED IN QUOTE: In order to be considered for award Offerors shall provide 1) SF-18 or a Quote on company letterhead detailing the item description, unit price per item, discounts for trade-ins, total price and valid for at least 60 days after receipt of quote; and 2) FAR 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATION-COMMERCIAL ITEMS; The Representation and Certification section must be completed electronically in the System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov.
