- U.S. GOVERNMENT General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State:� Maryland City:� Greenbelt Delineated Area:� Starting at the point where Interstate 495 Intersects with Cherrywood Lane: Travel eastward on Cherrywood Lane to Edmonston Road. Travel south on Edmonston Road as it turns into Kenilworth Avenue and intersects with Interstate 495/Capital Beltway. Travel northwest on 495/Capital Beltway, ending at Cherrywood Lane (see map attch). Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):� 12,071 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):� 12,192 Space Type:� Office Parking Spaces (Total):� 3 Parking Spaces (Surface Reserved):� 2 Parking Spaces (Structured Reserved): 1 Full Term:� 5 years Firm Term:� 5 years Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease.� A fully serviced lease is required.� Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Greenbelt, Maryland, that will be expiring. The Government has determined for mission-related and economic reasons that is it advantageous to renew its current lease. The Government would only consider alternative space if economically advantageous.� In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government�s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and interruption to agency mission.
