DISCLAIMER: THIS NOTICE IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS RFI OR REIMBURSE ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS RFI. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Solicitation, an Invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposal (RFP), a Request for Quotation (RFQ), or an indication the Government will contract for the items contained in this announcement. All information received in response to this RFI marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. PURPOSE: The purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research to find qualified vendors and to assist Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 in determining if a future contract effort can be competitively awarded on a Veterans-Owned Small Business Set-Aside basis. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this effort is 335220 (Major Household Appliance Manufacturing) with the Small Business Size Standard of 1500 Employees. If the Government determines there are qualified vendors for this requirement, a solicitation will be published and posted on the Contracting Opportunities website. The Government will use this information solely to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for this procurement. INTRODUCTION: This requirement is for the purchase of a Dishwasher, Flight Type . The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, supplies, management, and supervision necessary to provide the Dishwasher, Flight Type and listed accessories for the Hampton VAMC. The government is anticipating that this will be a brand-name requirement but encourages all vendors that can meet or exceed the item descriptions below to respond to this source sought. If providing a like item/system, please include attachments, information, and part numbers to allow the government to assess whether your items/system will suffice for this requirement. REQUIREMENTS: NOTE: The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors who can provide the following item(s) for the Hampton VA Medical Center, 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton, VA 23667. Qty Description 1 DISHWASHER, FLIGHT TYPE Hobart (FT1000E+BASE) Low energy series model flight type dish machine No more than 70 gallons of final rinse consumption per hour Dual rinse, hinged & insulated doors Sliding wash arms without caps Microprocessor controls with delime notification Blower Dryer feature Steam Coil Left to right operation Hinge doors, all sections 1 SOILED TRAY SYSTEM Aerowerks (STHS) Stainless steel pass thru window frame & sill. Stainless steel sight & sound baffle Single slat belt tray return conveyor, with electrical control panel and removable stainless-steel skirting Double slat belt accumulation conveyor, with remote start/stop station accumulation photo sensor and anti jam switch Soiled dish table, with waste trough, PVC stub rollers, magnetic silver catch hip switches, (2) motion auto rinse stations and overhead rack & storage shelf Hose clean up station Mobile soak sink 1 WASTE COLLECTOR - Salvajor (S419) Trough conveyor & collecting system with trough diffuser, salvage basin & silverware trap, scrap basket, 3/4 HP pump, pump intake screen, stainless steel construction, start/stop pushbutton control panel, with safety line disconnect & automatic shut off timer. Remote start/stop switch for all controls   INSTALLATION:   This is intended to be a turnkey installation.   New equipment must match the location s current specifications or appropriately adapt for: Electrical, gas, steam plumbing and drains   Uncrating and set in place in existing location on the ground level   Final hook ups (within 5 feet) to existing utilities   Start up and operator training to be completed on day of installation to include training on operation, safety, and cleaning   Remove and dispose of current dish machine, scrapping table, conveyor, and window.   Installations completed during normal business hours. Monday-Friday (8am To 4 pm) Warranty: 1year parts and labor. Trade-In or Salvage value for existing Dishwasher. New Equipment Only; No remanufactured or GRAY MARKET items. All items must be cover by manufacturer s warranty. No telephone requests for information will be accepted. Only emailed request received directly from the Offeror are acceptable. It is the Offeror s responsibility to ensure the quote is received. Vendors with a GSA schedule shall provide the contract number of that schedule and the expiration date as well as product NAICS codes. All items should be clearly identified if they are scheduled items or open market items. HOW TO RESPOND: All responses shall be submitted no later than Thursday; AUG 12, 2021 @ 10:00 AM EST. Therefore, due to time constraints, vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) under the above NAICS code at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award Please submit responses via email in Microsoft Office format by 10:00 AM (Eastern Standard Time) 08/12/2021.
