Description
PINNACLE PEAK SUBSTATION SERIES CAPACITOR BREAKER REPLACEMENT This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bid (IFB) related to the Pinnacle Peak Substation Series Capacitor Breaker Replacement Project. The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237130 with a size standard of $36.5 million. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between $500,000.00 and $800,000.00. Place of performance will be in Maricopa County, Arizona. This project consists of furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipment necessary for: a. Installing 345-kV power circuit breakers. b. Providing grounding system, bus system, conduit system and signs. c. Performing site work. d. Providing new foundations and anchor bolts for electrical equipment. e. Modifying existing foundations for electrical equipment. f. Providing galvanized steel structures. g. Relocating existing AC and DC circuit breaker cables to new equipment. h. Removing and disposing of electrical equipment, steel supporting structures, foundations and bus work. The solicitation, specifications and drawings, and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet free of charge. No CD-ROMS or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
