A. Request for Information (RFI) Disclaimer: This Request for Information/Sources Sought Notice (RFI) is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. If, after reviewing this document, you believe you can satisfy the training needs, and desire to participate in this market research RFI, you should reply via email. Send your corresponding questionnaire (section C) responses and your capabilities statement to larry.l.adams8.civ@mail.mil, no later than 11:59 pm on August 18, 2021. Please place �Heat Treat Training RFI� and your company name in the subject line of your response. All responses to this request are treated as proprietary information and will not be shared with anyone outside of the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) organization. Vendor questions will not be addressed by CCAD in relation to this RFI. Vendors may ask questions if/when CCAD decides that the information gathered within this RFI is enough to move forward and develop a notice of solicitation. B. Requirement: CCAD is a rotary wing aircraft overhaul and repair facility. This RFI is specifically seeking information regarding training for employees. The central topic is HEAT TREATMENT OF METAL ALLOYS. The heat treatment training subtopics at a minimum, shall include: Aluminum Alloys Carbon and Low Alloy Steels Tool Steels Stainless Steels Vacuum Nickel Brazing Safety Metallurgy Theory Types of Heat Treatment Equipment Different Types of Heat Treatment Processes �Heat Treatment Quality Control �Heat Treatment Defect Identification �Effects of Material, Atmosphere, Time, and Temperature (M.A.T.T.) �Heat Treatment Standards, Governing Bodies, and Documentation � C. Questionnaire: � What is the company�s name? What is the company�s mailing address? Who is the company�s point of contact (email address and telephone)? What is the company�s DUNS number? What is the company�s CAGE Code? What is the company�s size category? What training location options are available (online, vitural, in person at CCAD, in person at vendor location)? What is the minimum class size? What is the maximum class size? �How many hours/days is your training course(s) expected to take? �Do you have �Commercial off the Shelf Courses� available or do you perform �Custom� training? �What would the approximate cost of training be per venue/per person (ex. online, virtual, in person at CCAD, in person at vendor location)? �Can you provide course descriptions upon request? �Can you provide a training outline upon request?
