We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors who can provide the following item(s) for the Charles George VA Medical Center (VAMC), 1100 Tunnel Road Asheville NC 28805: A Phoropter Functions to be performed; Determine refractive state of patients when evaluating vision and prescribing spectacle prescriptions Performance required; or Must be capable of: Sphere: -19.00D to +16.75D, 0.25D Steps, +0.12D Sphere in auxiliary dial included Must be capable of: Cylinder Power: 0.00D to 6.00D, 0.25D Steps Must be capable of Cylinder Axis: 360 degrees (Double 0 to 180 degrees scale), 5 degrees graduations Must include Cross Cylinder: ± 0.25, ± 0.37 Must include Prism: 0 to 20 Prism Diopter, 1 Prism Diopter graduations Must be capable of Reading Distance: 5 to 28 inches (C) Essential physical characteristics; Dimensions (if applicable) Corrosion-resistant Include minus cylinder Precision geared rotary prism All interested parties should respond, in writing via email to Jennifer.Rhone@va.gov No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
