Description
SCOPE OF WORK AND GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR HOWARD HI-CARE E CART Background The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) Logistics section must record all equipment arriving and leaving this facility including equipment for all the CBOC s on the point of entry (warehouse docks). To keep up with this requirements and equipment accountability MEDVAMC has purchased HI-CARE E Carts to facilitate the processing of all Government equipment from the initial entry to the final disposition. Project Scope The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center needs to purchase 5 HI-CARE E carts for Logistics Service Line to accomplish this task. Specifications The Michael E. DeBakey VAMC specifications are designed to outline all the Logistics Processing Equipment requirements. These requirements will be provided to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) before final approval. The HI-CARE E Carts. Offer must meet these specifications: HOWARD HI-Care E Central Control panel for drawer access, power system controls, battery fuel gauge with visual and audible alerts, height adjustments, and light controls. With 4 tier surface area (17 W x 14.3 D) with translucent protective cover Ergonomic push handles w/ soft-touch grip on front of cart and wrap around handles on sides and rear. Mouse surface and mouse pouch on left or right side of keyboard. 8ft two-section coiled power cord with hospital grade AC plug. Dual integrated hooks and replaceable plug section. Biomedical Engineering Training Requirements: No training will be required. Supply Specifications Requirements: Standard One-year warranty parts and labor-No charge Warranty and Support: The warranty and support must cover all components of the requirement in accordance with standard manufacturer s warranty.
