Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Division of Acquisition, Construction and AE Operations is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Rehabilitation of Kettle Structures and Ponds at Harrison Lake National Fish Hatchery, Charles City, Virginia 23030. This action is being solicited as a Full and Open Competition with all Business sizes. The primary NAICS code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard of $39.50 million. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36 Construction and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects (c) Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 This work involves providing all labor, equipment, supplies, and construct as necessary to complete work as defined in the Specifications and Drawings that will be provided when the solicitation is issued. Work includes replacement of water control structures (commonly referred to as kettles), water supply piping, drain piping, and valves for ponds. A Firm Fixed Price award is contemplated from this solicitation with an award to the offeror(s) providing the best value, based on criteria 1) Key Personnel 2) Past Performance 3)Technical Approach and 4) Price Proposal (Schedule B). Solicitation package number 140F0221R0015 will include the Solicitation Forms (SF1442), Statement of Work and other attachments as required. Documents will be posted to the https://sam.gov/content/opportunities on or about July 19th, 2021. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this requirement. The SAM can be found at https://www.sam.gov. Payments will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer through (www.IPP.gov) using the data within the SAM registration database. Firms are encouraged to attend a Pre-proposal site visit currently scheduled for two different dates starting at 1000AM Eastern Time, July 28th and August 04th 2021.
