- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting market research pursuant to FAR Part 10 to determine if sources are capable of satisfying our agency needs by a type of service customarily available in the commercial marketplace. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720, Janitorial Services and the Small Business Association (SBA) size standards is $19.5 Million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is S201, Housekeeping-Custodial Janitorial. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is to seek the capability of potential contractors that could provide terminal and high touch cleaning services for the following locations; Orlando VA Medical Center (OVAMC), 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827, Lake Baldwin VA Medical Center, 5201 Raymond St., Orlando, FL 32803, Tavares VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), 1390 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778, Kissimmee VA CBOC, 2285 N. Central Avenue, Kissimmee, FL 34741, Clermont VA CBOC, 805 Oakley Seaver Dr., Clermont, FL 34711, Deltona VA CBOC, 1200 Deltona Blvd., Deltona, FL 32725, Palm Bay VA OPC, 5200 Babcock Street, Suite 101, Palm Bay, FL 32905, Westside Pavilion VA Clinic (UMHS Annex), 1821 Business Park Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL. 32114 and the Psychosocial Rehabilitation & Recovery Center (PRRC), 3731 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange, FL 32129. These types of cleaning consist of the prescribed cleaning and disinfection procedures established by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention for Healthcare facilities, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Interested parties must be able to use products which appear on the EPA List-N: Disinfectants for use against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) or meet the criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). Interested parties must be able to submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to; 1. Describe the type of cleaning products used, 2. Describe their qualifications to perform COVID cleaning services using CDC, EPA and OSHA methods and procedures, 3. Describe cleaning and disinfection practices, and 4. Describe their cleaning quality control process to reduce risk of exposure to SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). Interested parties may be required to provide the following documents as part of their technical capability during the solicitation phase; Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training certificate, documented Hepatitis B, Blood Borne Pathogens and Hazard Communication training certificate. This is not a request for quotations or proposals, interested parties may express their interest by providing their capability statement to Rohan.McKenzie@va.gov no later than 4:00PM EST on July 15, 2021.
