Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT NAVFAC SW intends to issue a Firm Fixed Priced contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting from a Single Source. Award is anticipated to occur on or about July 14, 2021 to The Association of Energy Engineers, Inc. The period of performance will be for five (5) calendar days 23 Aug 2021 - 28 Aug 2021 or 13 Sep 2021 � 17 Sep 2021 pending availability. As indicated in the attached and approved Single Source Determination and Statement of work, the training course must meet the academic requirements for the Certified Energy Manager (CEM). Service is as follows: Certification and testing for 25 students. The training and testing will provide knowledge of the principles and practices of energy management related disciplines and laws governing and affecting energy managers. This will include all course materials, instructors, and all associated travel, lodging, and meal expenses for the instructors. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611430 with the size standard of $5 million. The applicable Product Service Code is R420. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes. However, responses may be submitted via email only to Marcela Vargas, Contract Specialist at: marcela.vargas@navy.mil. Responses received no later than 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on July 12, 2021, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will generally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
