Description

This notice is a Notice of Intent. �(NOI). This notice is published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions. This is a Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Firm-Fixed Price Contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) � Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, and is not a request for competitive quotes. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Rocky Mountain Laboratories (RML) intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Lab Products 742 Sussex Ave, Seaford DE 19973 �for the procurement of: 1) RAIR HD Super Mouse 1800 Interchangeable Micro Isolator Unit. Include 76014CK-01 custom length cables. CATALOG # K71840AR QTY: 4 2) Zyfone Super Mouse 750 AllerZone Micro-Isolator w/air grommet CATALOG # 75059ZF-GA QTY: 320 3) RAIR HD Super Mouse Micro-Isolator 40/80 cage rack�� �CATALOG # 71840AR QTY: 4 4) RAIR HD Enviro-Guard Hepa filtered air units�� �CATALOG # 76014A �QTY: 4 5) Stainless Steel clip-on flip-up horizontal 5"" x 3"" cardholder CATALOG # 30508 QTY: 320� 6) shipping FOB Destination to Rocky Mountain Laboratories located in Hamilton, MT �59840 � �No substitutions are acceptable for the protection of the staff and animals. �We must purchase the same caging system for the mouse colonies at the Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Hamilton, MT.� �The procurement of the LAB PRODUCTS INC mouse housing system is necessary for continued analysis support.� The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332999 with a small business size standard of 750. Lab Products is a large business. � This will be the only notice of the Government�s intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement. The Government plans to award a contract for this requirement within 30 days of this notice.� While this synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to satisfy this requirement. The Government understands that Lab Products is the only vendor which can provide the requested products for NIAID. However, firms that believe they can provide the capability required to fully meet the Government's requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation that will be considered by this Agency in writing to the identified point of contact within fifteen (15) days after publication of this notice. Such documentation shall be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
