Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to UConn Health grants office,��263 Farmington Ave, Farmington, CT 06030 .The NIOSH Center for Productive Aging and Work is developing an e-tool, called iAGE, that can be used to design age-friendly workplaces in the manufacturing sector, focusing on improving musculoskeletal health. iAGE stands for interactive Age-Friendly Guidance and Evaluation and will provide a method for assessing a manufacturing workplace in terms of specific action checkpoints (e.g., organizational practices, programs, or policies) considered to be age-friendly. This effort requires NIOSH researchers to obtain input from multiple sources in manufacturing, including: from a dataset that contains health and performance data for approximately 1,000 manufacturing workers, from focus groups and interviews conducted with managers and workers in manufacturing, and from a review of previous research and guidance material on this topic in manufacturing, occupational health, aging, and human resources. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within ten (10) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.� A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� Any quotation/response should be emailed to contract specialist at MSo9@cdc.gov by COB�30 June 2021
