- ***This is an addendum to the 47QMCA21R0013 Presolicitation Synopsis Notice posted in SAM.gov on June 14, 2021*** Thank you very much to all those participating in promptly loading your technical data in our Auto Vendor- AutoStandards portal. Overall, you all did an exceptional�job.� GSA Engineer Russ Miller reviewed all� of the data for each make and model and made some minor adjustments�to the GSA minimums and options. Please refer to the following attachments: 1. Letter - Action Items with detailed instructions�are provided. 2. The revised drafts Purchase Descriptions are based upon input/comments submitted.�Engineer Miller�made a few minor changes to these PDs; track changes are enabled�for your convenience.��� 3. PDFs�of the revised�GSA minimums and options are provided; refer to the Action Item letter for the requested actions Refer to the GSA Vehicle Standards Web Site for side by side comparison of makes/models in each SIN at: (select 2022 and a search for SINs from the applicable categories):� https://vehiclestd.fas.gsa.gov GSA will reopen AutoStandards on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 8:00AM EDT and close on Friday,�June 25,�2021 at 3:00PM EDT. Please provide comprehensive and accurate data as possible; the opportunity to review and correct the data� is now. Once the Request for Proposals (RFP) is posted,�any changes to the representative�makes/models data including the�GSA's minimums will be controlled under a much more restrictive process, using procedures�called�offerors' exceptions�and amendments to the RFP. There are no guarantees that GSA will approve�requested changes to data during the RFP phase. Please provide diligence with the additional time allowed during this re-opening of� AutoStandards (Round #2).������� After AutoStandards (Round #2) closes, GSA Engineering will review all data and determine disposition of each make/model in each SIN.� The data in the GSA web site will remain open for viewing only. GSA reserves the rights to remove (or move) makes/models and/or revise GSA minimums. GSA will not change the data that you enter for the representative makes/models. The requirements will be finalized prior to the posting of the RFP.���� General clarifications and changes: Refer to the attached PDFs, revised drafts of GSA Purchase Descriptions. Track changes is enabled for your convenience. GSA�s minimum requirements are for perimeter seating. Seat belts are not required, the purpose of the perimeter seating. GSA code FFPS (Forward Facing Passenger Seating) is available as an option and passenger seat belts shall be provided. Several customers such as the VA may require this configuration. GSA codes FBOX (Fare Box) and SCRB (Stop Request Cables) are available as options. These options are available for eligible transit customers (fare collecting properties). Note: FBOX and SCRB are required to order/build a bus with FFPS (forward facing passenger seating) without seat belts. This is statutory (DOT) regulation. Action Required for all SINs: GSA created and added new code SPB (seating perimeter) as a minimum requirement, please enter the quantity of passenger seating positions in the cell to the right of SPB. GSA created and added new code STLB (seat transit low back) as a minimum requirement, please enter your make & model of perimeter passenger seating in the cell to the right of STLB. GSA created and added new code DSS (driver suspension seat) as a minimum requirement, please enter your make & model of driver suspension seat in the cell to the right of DSS. Action Required for specific SINs: SIN 377A GSA changed the engine minimum from bio diesel B20 engine to diesel. The GSA minimum is diesel. GSA created and added new code FB20 (bio diesel B20 compatible engine) as an option, configure this option accordingly to what you can offer. GSA changed (AED) exterior- door-entrance to air-slide guide or equal, enter the model that you offer in the cell to the right of AED. SIN 377B GSA deleted fuel capacity in US gallons, no action required. GSA changed (AED) exterior- door-entrance to air-slide guide or equal, enter the model that you offer in the cell to the right of AED. SIN 377C GSA changed the engine minimum from bio diesel B20 engine to diesel. The GSA minimum is diesel. GSA created and added new code FB20 (bio diesel B20 compatible engine) as an option, configure this option accordingly to what you can offer.
