- Description
- DESCRIPTION: The National Institutes of Health - NIAAA intends to procure the services of a contractor to provide a Chromatography system and Spectrometer equipment. Scope: NIH- NIAAA has a requirement for the purchase of some Lab equipment. The requirement is for commercial items in accordance with the format under Simplified Acquisition Procedures at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.603 and FAR 13, supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and another written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect in the March 2005 Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Revision, including all FAR Circulars issued as of the date of this synopsis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516- Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. Combined Synopsis/solicitation: The Lab needs an automated flash chromatography with multiple-sample parallel and sequential systems with a complete line of flash/prep chromatography. The system has to have advanced feature options such as up to 300ml/min and psi (20Bar), Captivity touch screen, a wider dynamic range UV Detector, a faster processor as well as all related features (Flow Rate Pumping, Detection, Injection Valve, Gradients, Level Sensing. Air Purge, User interface). Purion -MSD along with Next Gen 300+ Flash purification is needed for effective separation of small molecules guided by mass detection. It is an essential instrument for separation and purification of medicinally important compounds that will tested in invitro and in vivo studies. The Lab needs an advanced system which encompasses state of the art mass detection and various wavelengths for UV and ELSD detection. CombiFlash NextGen 300+ Automated Flash Chromatography System contains UV detector 200-400 nm with PeakTrak software control via 12"" capacitive touchscreen. Flow rate range of 1-300mL/min. The coupled PurIon Mass Spectrometer ""S"" with Fluid Interface for operation with CombiFlash NEXTGEN 300 or 300+, Rf Plus & Lumen, EZ Prep & AccqPrep. Mass range of the system is from 10-1200 Dalton with Positive or negative Polarity. Initial market research conducted by the Lab has shown availability of different models in Commercial market and so, this RFQ will award to the LPTA with all salient characteristics and compatibility with existing equipment at the Lab. All quotes will be evaluated equally after close of this solicitation and award will be made thereafter.. The proposed contract action is for which the Government does not intend to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Instead, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations.
