Description

Sources Sought Notice The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) Business Operations Division (BOD) is performing market research to determine potential sources capable of providing a Turbine Rinse System. The Turbine Rinse System must meet the functionality requirements listed below and the attached USCG Distilled Water Specifications (Attachment 1). TREATMENT: The system will provide the necessary pretreatment for hardness, sediment, and volatile organic materials. The system will provide the necessary post-treatment of dual deionization. DIMENSIONS: The vendor would provide a distiller and external filtration system with DI monitor capability. These systems are needed in a limited-space environment. ? The distiller cannot exceed the following dimensions: o Length: 32 inches o Width: 27 inches o Height: 65 inches ? The external filtration system with DI monitor capability cannot exceed the following dimensions: o Length: 28 inches o Width: 36 inches o Height: 24 inches PRODUCTION: The system will distill and produce at a minimum of 60 Gallons daily. The system will need 75 Gallons worth of storage. AUTOMATIC CONTAMINANT DRAINAGE: The system will include the feature of an automatic contaminant drain. This feature will prolong system life and minimize maintenance. QUALITY ENSURENCE MEASURES: The system will monitor water purity levels, alerting the users to an unacceptable levels of water purity. This system will ensure the provision of water meeting USCG Distilled Water Specifications (Attachment 1). PROPER CERTIFICATIONS: The system must be CSA Certified to meet UL standards. INSTALLATION AND TRAINING: The vendor will provide the Government with a factorytrained technician or technicians to install the system and provide training on the system. The Government anticipates an award of a purchase order for a single unit, . The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code is 333318, Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees.This notice is to help the Government in determining potential sources only. It is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to contract for any supply or service.
