Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The 377 MSG Contracting Division intends to issue a contract to ASA Environmental Products, Inc. 22 Bayview Ave, Stonington, CT, 06378. The objective of this effort is for the contractor to receive and refurbish old carbon filters with a brand name of Barnebey & Sutcliffe Corp., Part Number FV-SG-242416-62/787 and ship back refurbished carbon filters. The refurbished filter should include at a minimum the dumping of old media, the refilling of new media, new gaskets and be restored to operating condition INSTRUCTIONS: All responsible parties may identify their interest and submit a capability statement which will be considered by the government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Capability statements will not exceed five (5) pages and will be submitted electronically to the cognizant contracting office listed in the paragraph above. A determination by the government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall include company name, address, DUNS number, CAGE code, point of contact with email address and telephone number, and �indicate business size (small business, small disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, woman-owned small business, or HUBZone),�NAICS code, which is anticipated to be 333413. The government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice. Small business respondents should provide a statement of capabilities to assist the government in making a set-aside decision.
