Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The government intends to award a sole source contract for the below services to the firm Drum Corps International, Inc., 470 S. Irmen Drive, Addison Illinois 60101. The proposed contract action is to procure a media package that will consist of digital print advertisement for USMC promotional materials, announcements, and on/off site exposure through public relations events that surround the USMC core values, heritage and traditions. The use of such descriptive items in this acquisition is essential to the governments� requirement, thereby precluding consideration by another firm. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement. DURATION: This requirement will be for approximately thirty six (36) months in duration. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
